Somewhere Coffee

Such chill cafe. Their coffee is good. Almond croissant here so goood! Love it. The place quite aesthetic too, nice for pictures ~

Really nice coffee! It’s been a while since I’ve had good coffee in Melaka (okay, maybe I haven’t explored much), but this was truly great. The service was good too — the staff made sure to inform us about any unavailable items. Also, the pizza was so good! I ordered the triple cheese pizza and it wasn’t jelak at all — super satisfying. Definitely coming back again!

Went there on Sunday during Malacca day trip. This place was one of them in our bucket list for that day. First, we arrived there around 11am ish, place was quiet, there was another group of customer other than us. Which is good because I for one personally do not fancy jam-packed places. We ordered a snack/ starter (I humbly apologise, I don’t remember the name) and a slice of cake (Thai Milk Tea Chiffon). I enjoyed the starter because it was a simple dish but yet it was flavourful (don’t throw the mint away, it matches very well) but sadly, we don’t feel the same about the cake, a little underwhelming for us as it was a little lack of flavour, don’t taste very much Thai tea, but hey, perhaps the regulars love it you know, it’s not that it taste bad, more like below par for us. But taste is preference, right? The Pan Au Chocolaté has crispy overall (like really good crispy yeah), doesn’t taste too buttery, maybe a little short on the chocolate for me personally but otherwise all is good! As for the drinks, I feel overall both the drinks were presented properly, all the flavours were balanced, nothing was above another. Which is good, you can smell and taste the herbs, good amount of acidity, tonic and coffee was good too! Overall, though it was a short stop here, but we enjoyed it!

I absolutely love Somewhere Coffee! Their drinks are next-level delicious—especially the "Chocolate Treblem" and the "Daddy Cute" (guava flavor), both so unique and refreshing. Their pistachio cake—it’s the first thing I’d recommend! Rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced. And don’t even get me started on their spaghetti… so flavorful and satisfying! The vibe here is cozy, and every visit feels special. Do yourself a favor and try this place—you won’t regret it!
